Al-Hussein Saqr is Senior Programs & Strategy Manager at FAR.AI, where he focuses on the organization's alignment workshop series and events strategy, bringing together leading researchers from academia, frontier labs, and government to advance work on AI alignment and safety.

Before joining FAR.AI, Al-Hussein led Zurich AI Safety Day, Switzerland's first major AI safety conference. Prior to that, he designed and executed BlueDot Impact's community events strategy, engaging participants across virtual and in-person programming spanning three continents. He also worked as a Biomedical Research Associate at Charité, Medical University of Berlin, where he developed diagnostic tools for liver cancer detection and led FDA regulatory strategy.
